Why your payslip may differ

Payroll systems calculate tax on a period-by-period cumulative basis, and employers apply their own pension scheme rules, benefit valuations and deduction timings. Our figures assume a full tax year of steady PAYE employment. Treat every number here as an estimate rather than an exact payslip.
